Employment and Skills Development

At The Vine Centre we support people at any stage of their learning and employment journey. We can help you to improve your reading, writing or digitals, create or update your CV or help you to make job applications or prepare for interview. Our services are designed to be flexible, so you can interchange between My Space (for those ready for work) and My Helping Hand (for those needing to boost skills) or even sign up to some of our in house training to boost your employability and confidence. To find out more how we can help you please get in touch with Carla.

Our Services

My Space

Get support with searching for jobs, updating or making a CV, making applications or interview techniques. We can help you with the whole process of finding employment.

My Helping Hand

If you want to improve your skills in reading, writing, numeracy or digital skills then My Helping Hand is the place to do it. Our friendly staff can guide you and help with your learning.

Cooking with Confidence

We run sessions to make the most of the excess food we have in our Community Cupboard - and to teach you how to cook simple and healthy meals with confidence!

Therapeutic Art

Our Therapeutic Artist, Jo, will explore different themes and activities each week to help express emotions. Great if you are creative and struggling with your Mental Health.

Cosy Hub

Keep warm at Cosy Hub on Wednesday's and Thursdays with free tea, coffee and soup. Meet others, read or just relax. Budgeting support available.
