We offer twenty frontline services as part of our Journey Programme leading toward responsible and independent living delivered Monday to Friday and providing service users with companionship and practical assistance including:
housing and benefit advice, securing accommodation for the homeless clients, counselling, drug and alcohol support, drop in Health Clinic, budget management, form filling, laundry services, a nutritious meal, emergency food parcels or clothing and a range of stimulating leisure activities within a safe environment.
Volunteering and training opportunities are also made available to some clients as part of their progression.
By helping these vulnerable groups rebuild their lives, the Vine Centre helps individuals reduce/eliminate their drug and alcohol dependency, associated criminal activity, and therefore the number of ex-offenders returning to prison. By reducing social isolation and providing safe, practical support in the community, we are able to facilitate positive changes to quality of life.
