Job Club & Work Preparation

Our Job Club provides computer access within our IT Resource Centre which occupies 400sq feet within our premises giving attendees CV and work placement guidance, assistance with job searches and preparing for interviews. By providing this service to the local community in Aldershot, more long term adults 19 and over will become work ready.

Access to IT facilities for the community is paramount. Participants will have practical and hands on advice, support and guidance enabling them to gain improved skills, personal confidence and ultimately becoming work ready.

In the past 2 years The Vine has built close links to some key local employers who support our Job club attendees by offering their expertise. Offering recruitment advice, interview and CV guidance and mock job interviews.

We have developed our training opportunities to clients and the community including food hygiene - level 2, IT and business administration accredited course and all levels of IT. Access to literacy, numeracy anger management, budgeting and counselling as part of our life skills project.

This project can now provide a holistic approach to supporting individuals to become work ready.
